April has recently been elected as President of the Kentucky Emergency Number Association (KENA). Her leadership extends beyond Kentucky as she serves as a TERT (Telecommunication Emergency Response Team) leader.
April shares her eye-opening experience being deployed to Asheville, North Carolina, in the wake of Hurricane Helene. With the local 911 center overwhelmed, April and her team were called to assist, providing much-needed support in a devastated area.
